From airfield preparations to freefall

Your starting point is Sapareva Banya Airfield in Kyustendil Province. Here you receive a short theoretical briefing, get ready with the necessary equipment and meet the licensed tandem instructor you will jump with. Each participant has a separate instructor who handles the stages of the experience, from the aircraft ascent and jump to opening the parachute and making a gentle landing.

You board the same aircraft and share the build-up as it gains altitude. When weather conditions allow, the ascent may also offer views towards the Seven Rila Lakes. At 3,000 metres, it is time for the two tandem jumps and the freefall — the most intense part of the adventure.

Once the parachutes open, the pace changes. You have a few minutes of calmer flight to take in the Sapareva Banya area and the Rila Mountains before touching down at the airfield. Each skydive is an individual experience, while the preparations, flight and excitement after landing become a memory you share.

Participant requirements and what to wear

• The minimum age is 16.
• Participants under 18 need parental consent.
• Each participant must weigh between 45 and 100 kg.
• Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the season.
• Choose comfortable sports shoes without hooks or buckles. Sandals and flip-flops are not suitable.

Season, advance arrangements and arrival

Jumps take place from the beginning of May to the end of October and are weather-dependent. Submit your booking request at least 24 hours before your intended participation. Before setting off for the airfield, you must call the organising team using the contact number provided to confirm the weather conditions.

You need to arrive at Sapareva Banya Airfield at least 60 minutes before your reserved time. This arrival requirement is separate from the stated duration of the experience itself.

The activity provider's cancellation condition

The activity provider states that cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the reserved time. This is the provider's condition for the activity, not a separate Adventico voucher refund policy.

Choose an Adventico voucher for the two tandem skydives and give two people the chance to share a day above Sapareva Banya. Buying a voucher does not confirm a booking for a particular time: participation must be arranged in advance and remains subject to weather conditions.
