Tethered Hot Air Balloon Ride in Central Plovdiv

Discover a different view of the city with a tethered hot air balloon ride in central Plovdiv. As the balloon rises, the buildings, Plovdiv's distinctive hills and the Maritsa River come into view — a familiar cityscape seen from a bird's-eye perspective.

A fresh perspective on Plovdiv

This experience combines the excitement of rising into the air with panoramic views over the city. The buildings, hills and river form a picture beneath the balloon, giving you a memory of both the scenery and the feeling of leaving the ground.

The balloon basket remains tethered to the ground by ropes throughout the ascent. This is not a free flight over the city. The panoramic ride lasts up to approximately 10 minutes and is highly dependent on weather conditions.

What is included

• A place for one person on a shared, tethered hot air balloon ride lasting up to 10 minutes.
• Fuel for the balloon.
• A licensed pilot.

Schedule and weather requirements

The activity takes place in central Plovdiv. It is organised year-round, once a month on a specified date, early in the morning and only in suitable weather. It is not offered on a daily, open-ended schedule.

Requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. On the day, you must contact the team using the number they provide before setting off, so they can update you on the expected weather conditions. Arrive 15–20 minutes before your reserved time.

Receiving your video

The provider's practical instructions state that the team sends the video within a few days after the activity. If you have trouble downloading it, call 0894766881 for help. The video is not separately listed among the included services.

Provider conditions and your Adventico voucher

The provider states that cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the reserved time. The source offer lists voucher validity until 18 October 2027. These details describe the provider's conditions and do not automatically become the terms of an Adventico voucher.

Give an Adventico voucher for a new perspective on Plovdiv, or choose the experience for yourself. A voucher is not a confirmed reservation: participation depends on the team's schedule, a group forming and suitable weather.
