Children use quality ingredients and kitchen tools throughout the session. Each child is provided with a special chef’s hat and apron, helping them feel the part as they get to work. Warm aromas from the oven, smiles and new discoveries all contribute to the atmosphere of this sweet introduction to cooking.

The first challenge: chocolate soufflé

The class begins with chocolate soufflé, a classic dessert that rewards care at every stage. With the chef’s guidance, children learn how to melt high-quality chocolate and butter, prepare a light, fluffy mixture and give it just the right amount of time in the oven.

The aim is a light, airy dessert with a melting centre. Young participants discover why baking time matters and experience the excitement of seeing their own warm, fragrant soufflé come out of the oven. It is a small culinary achievement with plenty of room for pride and smiles.

Flourless brownies with a creative finish

Next comes a flourless brownie with an intense chocolate flavour, a dense texture and a soft centre. Children discover how cocoa, eggs and nuts can create the dessert’s distinctive flavour and structure without flour in the recipe.

Each participant helps make their own brownie and decorates it in their own way. This is their chance to use their imagination and discover that cooking is about creativity as well as following a sequence of steps. At the end, children leave with the desserts they have made, recipes to take home and the inspiration to have another go.

Location, duration and participation

The class takes place at Bon Vivant cooking school in Veliko Tarnovo and lasts 2 hours. It is suitable for children aged 8–13, with a minimum participation age of 8. This is a group activity with other children whom the participant may not have met before.

Schedule and organiser’s conditions

Classes are organised throughout the year on scheduled dates. One advertised session was 21 November 2025 at 17:30; this is a past date, not confirmation of an upcoming class. A current date from the organiser’s schedule needs to be arranged when using the voucher.

Participation requests must be made at least 72 hours before the start. Under the organiser’s conditions, cancellation is free up to 96 hours before the selected session. This condition concerns cancellation of attendance with the organiser; it is not a general Adventico voucher refund policy.
