Candle-Making Workshop in Plovdiv — Time to Create

Let your imagination take the lead at a candle-making workshop in Plovdiv, where colour, fragrance and hands-on craft come together in a sensory experience. Over 2–2.5 hours, you can step away from your usual routine, settle into the creative process and make a candle with a personal touch. Candle-making meets inspiration from the world of patisserie, with time for conversation, laughter and shared enjoyment along the way.

This is about more than making something for your home. The aim is to offer a calm, inspiring experience surrounded by fragrance and colour, a chance to try something different and the satisfaction of creating with your own hands. You will leave with your finished work and memories of time spent in a welcoming, creative setting.

Your own ideas within a themed session

Every workshop follows a theme announced in advance. It sets the overall concept, colour palette and mood, giving each date its own creative direction. Within that theme, you can choose from a varied selection of colours, fragrances and decorative elements to give your candle a character that reflects your taste and mood.

A skilled artisan specialising in decorative candle casting will guide you throughout. This is an entirely practical activity, with no theory session or lecture content. You will take part directly in making your candle, and all the necessary materials are provided.

What the voucher includes

• A place for one person at a practical, themed weekend candle-making workshop.
• Guidance from a decorative candle-making artisan throughout the session.
• All materials needed for the activity.
• Coffee, tea, water and a sweet treat.
• One or two candles made by you to take home, depending on the theme of the particular event.

The sweet treat adds another sensory element to the experience, while your finished candles are a personal reminder of the time you set aside to create.

Come on your own or share the experience

The workshop works equally well as time for yourself, a catch-up with a friend or an experience to share with someone close. Enjoy conversation and laughter while working on your own creations, or introduce your child to the possibilities of handmade crafts and imagination. Sessions take place in a group with other people you may not have met before.

Children aged 8 and over can work independently. The process is adapted to make it safe, understandable and enjoyable for them. Children under 8 may take part only alongside a parent. In that case, one single-person package is purchased, and the parent and child work together using one set of materials.

Duration and schedule in Plovdiv

The workshop takes place in Plovdiv and lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. The organiser runs sessions from January to October on a published schedule: weekdays at 18:30 and weekends at 12:00 and 16:00. • Children can participate independently from age 8; younger children must work with a parent using a shared set of materials.
• The organiser’s stated cancellation policy allows free cancellation up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.

Give someone time to create

Choose an Adventico voucher for someone who enjoys handmade crafts, or treat yourself to time filled with fragrance, colour and creativity. Your candle is more than something to take home: it is a personal reminder of a relaxed activity, shared enjoyment and the pleasure of making something your own. The voucher is a gift of an experience, not an immediately confirmed booking for a particular date or theme.
