The ride starts in the green meadows above Gorna Banya, where you can get acquainted with the electric motorbike in a safe setting before heading out. This is a tour for experienced riders; the initial introduction to the bike does not make the route a beginner ride.

The route begins with Bonsovi Polyani Hut and continues past an abandoned missile base. Next come the summits of Dupevitsa and Dobrinova Skala, with stops to rest and take photographs overlooking Sofia. These pauses give you time to enjoy the panorama between stretches of riding.

From the summits, you descend towards Gorna Banya Monastery before continuing to the distinctive All Saints Chapel. The final part of the circuit takes you as far as the Suhodol meadows, followed by the climb back to your starting point. More than 30 km of riding brings these varied stops together in one eventful four-hour outing.

You may finish a little muddy and tired, but with the satisfying feeling of time well spent outdoors and plenty of positive energy.

What to wear and bring

Choose comfortable sports clothing and dress for the forecast. The wind while riding makes it feel colder, so you may need warmer clothing than you would expect from the air temperature alone. Thermal base layers are recommended below 20°C.

Wear sturdy footwear with firm soles, preferably boots that cover the ankles. Riding in sandals, flip-flops or other open footwear is not permitted. Your clothes may get muddy or torn on the trail, so consider bringing a spare set to change into afterwards.

You are welcome to bring your own action camera to record the adventure.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

The tour is weather-dependent and runs only when there is no snow cover and the temperature is above 10°C. Dates can be requested any day of the week between 09:00 and 18:00. Requests must be made at least 10 hours before the desired start time.

Before setting off, you must call the team organising the ride to check the weather conditions at the location.

The activity provider states that cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the agreed start time. This is the provider's condition for the scheduled activity, not a general Adventico voucher refund policy.
