How the lesson runs
After a short pre‑flight briefing and safety instruction, you board a dual‑control aircraft. Your instructor guides you throughout while you take the controls and perform the core stages of flight:
- take‑off and climb;
- straight‑and‑level flight and course control;
- turns;
- approach and landing.
Route and views
The route heads over Rila at altitudes up to 3,000 m. Along the way you can enjoy panoramas of:
- the Seven Rila Lakes;
- the Urdini Lakes and the Ivan Vazov Hut area;
- Otovishko, Gradinski and Vodenicharski Lakes;
- the Kalin and Karagyol reservoirs in Western Rila.

When is it most comfortable to fly?
Flights are usually smoother early in the morning or late in the afternoon. In spring and summer, mountain flights between 10:00 and 17:00 encounter thermal activity that causes turbulence. For passengers over 80 kg, early‑morning slots are recommended.

How to prepare?
Passengers who have consumed alcohol or intoxicating substances on the day of the flight are not permitted.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your booked time.
