Forest Quest on Vitosha — an Outdoor Team Adventure

Forest Quest on Vitosha is an outdoor team adventure where comfortable shoes, curiosity and clear communication matter just as much as logical thinking. Gather your adventurous friends and follow a woodland route with a map, puzzles and treasure waiting at the finish. The experience combines time in nature with challenges that require you to think and act as a team.

A treasure hunt with puzzles and navigation

Forest Quest brings together elements of treasure hunting, escape rooms, outdoor field games and map-based navigation. Rather than relying on your own answers alone, you will need to draw on your teammates’ strengths and contribute your own. The game encourages creative thinking, quick thinking and the ability to work together as a single team.

Logic, resourcefulness and close observation will help you make sense of each situation and find your way to the treasure. Sharing ideas and communicating clearly are essential to completing the challenges. The woodland setting, enjoyable physical and mental activity, and shared tasks offer a different way to spend time with friends or colleagues.

What is included along the route

• An outdoor game on Vitosha for the number of participants covered by your chosen package.
• A 2 km route, one map and 13 locations.
• Challenges and puzzles leading to the final treasure.
• Scenic, uneven woodland terrain, mysteries and teamwork tasks.
• A briefing, map and additional materials supplied by the organisers on site before the game begins.

For friends or a team-building event

The adventure suits both a smaller group and a larger event involving several teams. The described team size is five to ten people. The base package covers up to five participants, with separate packages for six, seven, eight, nine or ten.

If your group has more than ten people, you can split into two or more teams. A single game can accommodate a maximum of four teams of up to ten people each, or 40 participants in total. The experience is arranged privately for your group and the number of people selected. The minimum age is 18.

Allow approximately three hours for the game. The actual duration depends on each team’s pace.

Starting point and scheduling

The starting point is in Sofia’s Simeonovo neighbourhood, with the game taking place on Vitosha mountain. This is a seasonal experience, running from spring to autumn in suitable weather. Under the organiser’s schedule, games can be arranged on any day with a start time between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance. On the day before your reserved date, call the organisers using the contact number supplied for your reservation to confirm that the weather is suitable.

What you need to bring

• Every participant needs comfortable footwear.
• Each person must have a charged phone and mobile internet access.
• Wear clothing appropriate for the season and mountain conditions.
• Bringing drinking water is recommended.

Provider conditions and your adventure voucher

The provider states that cancellation is free up to 168 hours, or seven days, before the reserved start time. This does not automatically become a general condition for Adventico vouchers. The source offer lists validity until 18 October 2027; the validity applicable to an Adventico voucher must be checked separately.

Choose an Adventico voucher for Forest Quest and give a shared mission, woodland mysteries and time together. A voucher does not automatically confirm a date or start time. These must be arranged separately with the organisers, taking weather conditions into account.
