Horse Riding Trek to Stolo with a Picnic near Svoge

Set out on a horse riding trek to Stolo with a picnic near Svoge and spend half a day exploring mountain scenery with well-trained horses. From Zasele through Zimevitsa to Stolo

The route begins in the village of Zasele in the Svoge area. You ride through Zimevitsa, reach the natural landmark of Stolo and then return to Zasele.

The trek lasts approximately 4 hours. It runs in groups of 2–6 people and may include other participants you do not know. It is not described as a private trek exclusively for your party.

Riding experience and participation requirements

This experience is designed for intermediate and advanced riders. You must be able to ride independently and confidently at a walk and trot. Cantering experience is helpful but not compulsory. This trek is not an introductory riding lesson.

Children aged 10 and over can take part if they meet the riding experience requirement. The maximum participant weight is 110 kg. Anyone under 18 must participate with a parent.

Season, start times and advance booking

Treks run from 1 March to 30 October, starting at either 10:00 or 11:00. Mondays are closed. Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance. The activity is weather-dependent.

Preparing for your day

• Plan to travel in your own car. The road to the ranch is well maintained and surfaced with asphalt.
• Wear sports clothing appropriate for the season.
• Arrive 10–15 minutes before your agreed start time.
• If you would like to bring the horses a treat, choose carrots or apples. Do not feed them sugar or bread.
