Experience the Kozya Stena Peak hike over two rewarding days: ridge panoramas, a welcoming group vibe, and an overnight at Echo Hut. You hike in a small group of up to 8, led by a licensed mountain guide, with 4–6 hours of comfortable walking each day.

What to expect
Wide ridge views across the Central Balkan, passage over characteristic summits, and a cozy night in a classic mountain hut. The pace is set for comfort, photos, and safety.

Route and program

Day 1: Beklemeto – Kozya Stena Peak – Echo Hut
09:00 – meet at Beklemeto (Troyan Pass). Park your car and set off along the ridge to Kozya Stena Peak for the ascent and skyline panoramas. Pause by Kozya Stena Hut for a meal (optional), then continue to Echo Hut via Mt. Ushite. If the group wishes and has energy, there’s an optional extension towards the slopes of Mt. Yumruka.

Day 2: Echo Hut – Kozya Stena Peak – Beklemeto
Optional early start to catch sunrise. After breakfast, follow the ridge back towards Beklemeto, wrapping up the weekend pleasantly tired and recharged.
