Night Snorkelling in Nessebar for One or Two
Description
Night snorkelling in Nessebar
Night snorkelling in Nessebar reveals a different side of the sea after sunset. Even a spot you have explored during the day can feel transformed in the beam of a torch: daytime creatures retreat, while nocturnal species that are harder to spot in daylight emerge from their hiding places. The mystery of dark water becomes a chance to watch marine life following its night-time rhythms.
The experience takes place in Nessebar Old Town, in the Burgas area, after 8:00 pm. Choose a voucher for yourself or for two people to share an unusual evening at sea. You do not need to be able to swim.
What happens during the experience
You enter from the shore, walking approximately 20 metres through the water. Before snorkelling begins, there is time for organisation, preparation, a briefing and questions. Allow around 2 hours for the whole experience, with up to 40 minutes in the water.
- Around 40 minutes for organisation and preparation.
- Around 40 minutes for the briefing and your questions.
- Up to 40 minutes of snorkelling in the water.
You take part in a group with other participants you may not know. A voucher for two does not make this a private experience.
What is included
- Night snorkelling for one or two people, depending on the voucher selected.
- A basic ABC set: mask, snorkel and fins.
- A full wetsuit, diving boots and gloves.
- A life jacket, which must be worn.
- A torch for observing marine life after dark.
- Organisation, preparation and a briefing.
You can choose a conventional mask or a full-face mask. Discuss your preference with the instructor when you arrive.
Who can take part
Participants must be at least 12 years old and weigh between 30 and 100 kg. Children who meet these requirements can join. Swimming skills are not required, but the health restrictions and compulsory equipment requirements still apply.
Season, start time and advance arrangements
Sessions run daily from the beginning of June to the end of September, after 8:00 pm, provided the weather is suitable. Request your preferred session at least 96 hours, or 4 days, in advance. Buying a voucher does not confirm a booking for a particular date or time.
You must contact the diving centre on the day before your arranged experience to check the weather conditions. This is a weather-dependent activity.
How to prepare
- Bring swimwear, a towel and a bottle of water. A changing room is available on site.
- Avoid alcohol the evening before. A long journey immediately before the experience is also not recommended.
- It is best not to enter the water on an empty stomach: have something light to eat and drink fluids.
- Tie back long hair before entering the water.
Health restrictions and paperwork
The activity is not suitable if you have epilepsy, a perforated eardrum, a runny nose, an inflammatory condition, or high blood pressure accompanied by heart disease, or if you are pregnant. If you have high blood pressure without the accompanying heart condition described above, written permission from a doctor is required.
Before taking part, you must complete personal data processing paperwork, an acknowledgement of responsibility and the Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire. A parent or guardian must complete these documents for participants under 18.
Bonus video recording and delivery
Bonus video recording is offered only when weather conditions allow. The footage is uploaded to Google Drive folders for easier sharing, so you need to provide an email address. Videos are sent between 3 and 7 days after the experience.
You may need to download an HEVC codec from Microsoft's official website to play the recordings.
The provider's cancellation policy
The diving centre states that cancellation is free up to 36 hours before the arranged session. This is the provider's condition for the activity, not a general cancellation term for all Adventico vouchers.
