What is AIDA 2
A beginner certification designed for confident swimmers who feel comfortable in the water. You’ll learn freediving physiology, breathing and breath-hold techniques, equalization methods and core safety procedures.

How the training runs

• Theory – about 6 hours: freediving physiology, breathing and breath-hold, equalization techniques, safety.
• Confined water – 2 sessions: breathing and relaxation drills, horizontal underwater swimming, efficient finning.
• Open water – 4 sessions: controlled descents with focus on equalization, technique, streamlined movement and applying safety procedures.

What you’ll master

• Breath control and relaxation for longer, calmer breath-holds.
• Reliable equalization techniques.
• Efficient finning and economical movement.
• Safety skills and buddy procedures.
• Target outcome: comfortable dives in the ~12–20 m range.
