Follow the Zavodna River through ancient beech woodland

You then follow a winding dirt track, with each bend revealing another part of the surrounding countryside. Ancient beech trees line the route, accompanied by the scent of woodland herbs. The ride combines time on two wheels with the unhurried immersion in nature that can be difficult to find during a busy week.

After exploring the woodland scenery, you descend towards the starting point. You finish where you began, with the memory of an hour outdoors and an experience to share with friends.

This tour is suitable for complete beginners, including anyone trying an electric motorbike for the first time. You ride a Sur-Ron Light Bee, a model suited to both gentle outings and more demanding enduro riding. It has 6 kW of power, 250 Nm of torque, a weight of 49 kg and two operating modes.

The experience lasts 1 hour. This is a shared group tour, so you may ride alongside people you do not know; it is not a private outing exclusively for your own party. The group capacity is 7 participants.

What to wear and how to prepare

Choose comfortable sports clothing and supportive footwear. Check the forecast and dress for the conditions, remembering that the wind makes it feel colder when you are riding. Thermal base layers are recommended when temperatures are below 20°C.

Your clothes may become muddy or get torn during the tour, so bringing a spare set to change into afterwards is a good idea. Riding in open footwear, including sandals and flip-flops, is not permitted. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with firmer soles, preferably with ankle coverage.

Location, season and operating conditions

The starting location is in the village of Ribaritsa, in the Lovech region. Tours operate from May to October, daily between 09:00 and 18:00, subject to an enquiry for your preferred date. Participation must be requested at least 10 hours before the intended start time.

The experience is weather-dependent. Before setting off, you must phone the team running the tour to check the weather conditions. The organiser's cancellation policy allows free cancellation up to 24 hours before the agreed start time.
