When proposing your own location, it must be easily accessible by car so that everything needed for the picnic can be delivered and prepared.

Duration and planning your date

You have 120 minutes, or two full hours, for your romantic picnic. Picnics take place from May to October and depend entirely on the weather. Both preparation and arrangements for the day must take weather conditions into account.

The organiser states that reservations should be made at least seven days in advance. The booking request also has a minimum advance-notice requirement of 240 hours, equivalent to 10 days. Allow at least 10 days when requesting your preferred date, bearing in mind that suitable weather is still essential for the experience to go ahead.
