Jeep Safari near Velingrad – Explore Milevi Skali Peak

Take a jeep safari near Velingrad and trade your everyday routine for four hours in the wide-open Rhodope Mountains. Travelling in a Russian jeep, you will discover quieter corners of the mountains, expansive views and places with a story to tell. Enjoy the adventure yourself or give someone close to you an experience they can look back on long after the trip.

Milevi Skali Peak and views across three mountain ranges

The route takes you by Russian jeep all the way to Milevi Skali Peak. At the top, a 360-degree panorama opens out across the Rila, Pirin and Rhodope mountains, replacing the city skyline with an uninterrupted mountain horizon.

The summit is also home to an imposing, 22-metre-high monument to the partisans. Along the way, the trip visits the remains of houses where the Bulgarian writers Ivan Vazov and Aleko Konstantinov once stayed. The outing brings together mountain scenery and tangible traces of the area's past.
