VIP Hot Air Balloon Flight for Two near Sofia in a Large Luxury Basket

Share the morning sky with someone special on a VIP hot air balloon flight for two near Sofia. You have your own compartment in a large luxury basket as the balloon drifts freely over the area north of Sofia. With around 30 minutes in the air, there is time to take in the gentle movement, the landscape below and the pleasure of experiencing something out of the ordinary together.

A romantic flight up to 600 metres above the ground

This early-morning experience is an opportunity to welcome the sunrise from the sky with someone you want beside you for the moment. The balloon flies at heights of up to 600 metres above the ground. What looks like a peaceful journey brings a feeling all its own, with the scenery opening out beneath the basket and everyday life left far below.

The flight also makes a setting for a romantic surprise or a marriage proposal. If you are planning to ask that important question, this could be where you share your own special “yes”. In calm weather, the sparkling wine is served during the flight itself. The crew records the experience on camera, giving you a way to share the excitement with friends afterwards and keep a reminder of your time in the sky together.

Your own compartment in a shared basket

This is a free-flying hot air balloon experience for two in a large luxury basket. You fly as part of a group with other participants you may not know, but each couple has a separate compartment. You have your own space within the basket; the entire balloon is not reserved exclusively for the two of you.

• A separate compartment for your couple in the shared large luxury basket.
• The necessary equipment and the crew responsible for operating the flight.
• An on-site briefing before take-off.
• Video recording of the experience.
• Sparkling wine for adult participants, served during the flight when the weather is calm.

Location and operating times

Flights take place in the area north of Sofia, in Sofia Province. They operate year-round, every day of the week, when weather conditions allow. During the warmer months, from March to September, the operating window is 07:30–09:30. During the colder months, from October to February, it is 08:30–10:30.

Allow at least 12 hours in advance when requesting a place. Hot air balloon flights take place early in the morning and are highly weather-dependent. Unsuitable conditions can mean postponement, even at the last minute.
