Group Balloon Ascent in North Sofia with Video

A group balloon ascent in North Sofia with video lets you see the surrounding area from around 100 metres above the ground and keep a record of the experience. From below, the balloon may look like a gentle, relaxing way to rise into the sky. Once you step into the basket, however, the excitement feels much more immediate. In approximately 10 minutes, your familiar ground-level perspective gives way to panoramic views.

Share the excitement in the balloon basket

Bring a friend or a group of friends to enjoy the ascent together and offer each other encouragement. This is a shared activity, so you may also take part alongside people you have not met before. The basket holds a maximum of six people, and the organiser requires at least six registered participants for the activity to take place.

The location is in the North Sofia area. This experience is a panoramic hot-air balloon ascent lasting around 10 minutes, rather than a described free flight along a route.

What is included

• The equipment needed for the ascent.
• A team responsible for carrying out the activity.
• Video recording of the experience.

The team provides the video within a few days after the ascent. If you have difficulty downloading it, the published assistance number is 0894766881.

Participants and age requirements

The activity is suitable for children, with a stated minimum age of six. Every participant under 18 needs parental consent.

The offer has versions for one, two or three participants. Selecting a number of places does not make the ascent private: it remains a group activity, and other participants may share the basket.

When the ascent takes place

The organiser lists operation on every day of the week, with early-morning time windows that vary by season:

• From 1 March to 30 September: between 6:00 and 7:30 am, Monday to Sunday.
• From 1 October to 28 February: between 7:00 and 8:30 am, Monday to Sunday.

Hot-air balloon activities are highly dependent on weather conditions. The ascent may be postponed even at the last moment, despite an arranged time.

Before you leave home

• On the day of the ascent, you must contact the team before setting off, using the telephone number supplied during the arrangements. They will update you on the expected weather.
• Arrive at the location 15–20 minutes before your reserved time.
• Allow for the minimum requirement of six registered participants and the possibility of a weather-related postponement.

Conditions published by the supplier

The source specifies requests at least 24 hours before the event and free cancellation up to 48 hours before the reserved time. The supplier's voucher offer lists validity until 14 October 2027 and a published rating of 4.38. These details describe the source offer and do not automatically become Adventico's terms.

Give someone a view over North Sofia
