Music Experience Day in Sofia – Lessons and Studio Time

A music experience day in Sofia invites you to rediscover music through lessons, playing and a look inside a professional recording studio. At RockSchool, you can try different instruments, play in an equipped rehearsal room and explore how recording works. The team's attentive approach and love of music welcome complete beginners and experienced musicians alike.

A musical gift for every experience level

This experience suits someone keen to learn an instrument just as well as a musician looking for fresh inspiration. Choose six different musical disciplines offered at RockSchool, or focus on fewer subjects and devote more of your total lesson time to them.

You do not have to take every lesson on the same day. Lessons can be spread across different days by arrangement with the provider, allowing you to explore several instruments or spend longer developing your interest in a particular instrument or vocal style.

Choose your lessons

• Guitar, bass guitar, drums and piano.
• Violin, viola and cello.
• Flute, saxophone and trumpet.
• Accordion, ukulele and Bulgarian bagpipes.
• Singing, heavy vocals, classical and opera singing, and folk singing.
• Music theory, songwriting and composition.

For a Bulgarian bagpipe lesson, you must bring your own instrument.

What the Standard package includes

The Standard package lasts 4 hours and 30 minutes in total and includes:

• Six 30-minute music lessons, with the flexibility to explore different subjects or spend more time on fewer disciplines.
• 60 minutes of playing in a professional rehearsal room.
• A 30-minute studio tour and an introduction to the basic principles of recording and post-production.

What the Premium package includes

The Premium package lasts 6 hours in total and adds time to record a song in a professional studio. It includes:

• Six 30-minute music lessons, with the same flexibility to divide your lesson time among your chosen subjects.
• 60 minutes of playing in a professional rehearsal room.
• A 15-minute studio tour and an introduction to the basic principles of recording and post-production.
• 1 hour and 45 minutes to record a song in a professional recording studio.
• A video recording of your studio recording session.

Professional facilities and a welcome gift

The rehearsal room has professional musical instruments and a sound system available for you to use. For the studio work, you will work with a professional sound engineer, with free use of the available high-quality equipment.

The shared description for both packages states that each recording made includes up to one hour of post-production, after which it is emailed to you as a .wav file. A song recording session is explicitly included in Premium; Standard lists a tour and an introduction to studio processes.

Both packages include a welcome gift pack containing a RockSchool T-shirt, a refreshing drink and chocolate.

Share the experience

The package is for one main participant, but you may bring up to two people with you. Your companions can join in the activities if they wish. This does not increase the number of lessons: the experience still includes six lessons in total.

The activity is suitable for children aged 5 and over. It is arranged individually for the requested number of participants.
