When you can ride

The tour operates year-round when conditions are suitable: there must be no snow cover, and the temperature must be above 10°C. Rides can take place any day of the week between 09:00 and 18:00, subject to an enquiry for your preferred date. Participation must be requested at least 10 hours before the start.

The activity is weather-dependent. Before travelling, you must telephone the team to check the weather and riding conditions. Under the activity provider's cancellation policy, cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the agreed start time.

What to wear and how to capture the ride

Wear comfortable sports clothing and check the forecast. Wind makes the air feel colder while you are moving, so dress for riding rather than simply for a walk outdoors. Thermal base layers are recommended when temperatures are below 20°C.

Your footwear should be sturdy, preferably high-cut shoes or boots with firm soles. Sandals, flip-flops and all other open footwear are not permitted for riding. Clothing may get muddy or tear on the route, so bringing a change for afterwards is a practical precaution.

You can bring your own action camera. If you do not have one, ask the guide beforehand whether a spare is available, rather than assuming one will be provided.
