Route and views
Take off from Panicharevo Airfield (near Dupnitsa) and climb to around 3,000 m for a ridge tour of Rila. After reaching the highest lakes, the pilot descends gradually to pass close to each lake for excellent visibility. Along the way you fly over Panichishte, Sapareva Banya, Dupnitsa and Dyakovo Reservoir. The flight duration is about 45 minutes.

Pilot lesson — how it works
If you choose the lesson, you take the front seat and, under the instructor’s control, assume the controls. Beforehand you receive a concise briefing similar to pilot school: straight-and-level flight, climb and descent, and executing simple and more advanced turns to feel how the aircraft responds. The instructor stays with you throughout and guides you step by step.

The Mooney M20 is a certified, high‑performance aircraft capable of speeds over 350 km/h. It enables a smooth climb to altitude and close passes over the lakes for memorable views.
