Scenic Flight and Flying Lesson near Sofia – 20 Minutes

Choose a scenic flight and flying lesson near Sofia and see the landscape from a completely different perspective. During 20 minutes in the air in an Apollo Fox aircraft, you can enjoy views of the Balkan Mountains, Vitosha and Sofia, with the chance to try the controls if conditions are suitable.

The flight takes place in the area north of Sofia. A qualified pilot accompanies you and looks after your safety and comfort. Combining time in the air with an introduction to flying, this experience is a chance to treat yourself or give someone close to you an adventure they have dreamed of.

Views from above and a chance to take the controls

The aircraft flies at an altitude of no more than 2,000 metres. Your pilot takes both the weather and your wishes into account, so the way the flight unfolds depends on conditions on the day.

If conditions allow and you would like to try, you may be able to control the aircraft yourself during the experience with the pilot. This opportunity is conditional rather than a guaranteed part of every flight.

What the experience includes

• A 20-minute flying lesson and flight in an Apollo Fox aircraft.
• A safety briefing.
• A qualified pilot.
• A headset for the flight.
• Fuel.

The service is delivered individually for the requested number of participants rather than as a shared group activity.

Age and participation requirements

Participants must be at least 9 years old and weigh between 30 and 105 kg. Children who meet these requirements can take part, and anyone under 18 needs parental consent.

Flying times and confirming the location

The listed operating period runs from 1 January to 30 December, every day from Monday to Sunday, between 09:00 and 18:00. Request your session at least 24 hours in advance. Flights depend on the weather, and the specific time is arranged with the provider.

On the day of your flight, you must call the pilot before setting off. Use this conversation to confirm the weather conditions and the precise meeting location in the area north of Sofia. The general area description alone is not enough to plan your arrival.

Preparing for your flight

Wear comfortable clothing suited to the season and bring sunglasses, as requested in the preparation guidance. Confirming your time, obtaining the exact location and discussing the weather with the pilot are important parts of planning the experience.

The provider lists free cancellation up to 24 hours before the reserved start time. This is the flight provider's condition and does not automatically mean that the same rule applies generally to Adventico vouchers.

A voucher for an introduction to flying

Give an Adventico voucher for a scenic flight and flying lesson north of Sofia, or choose the experience for yourself. A voucher is not a confirmed reservation: the date, time and exact location must be arranged in advance, while both the flight and the opportunity to take the controls depend on suitable conditions.
