Gyrocopter Flight over the Rila Lakes from Sapareva Banya

A gyrocopter flight over the Rila Lakes from Sapareva Banya reveals the mountains from a whole new perspective. Settle into an AutoGyro Cavalon for an aerial experience lasting approximately 45 minutes with an experienced pilot-instructor. Alongside the panoramic views, you can take your first steps in flying a gyrocopter under the guidance of a licensed instructor.

The Rila Lakes and mountain scenery from above

The beauty of the Rila Lakes makes them a much-loved escape into nature. If you have yet to discover them, this flight offers a different way to experience their appeal. If they are already a favourite place, the comfortable seat of a Cavalon gives you a fresh angle on a landscape you love.

During the flight, you will have the opportunity to see the Skakavitsa and Goritsa waterfalls, the Seven Rila Lakes, and the striking Otovishki and Zeleni rid ridges with their sheer, rocky peaks. The sights also include Panichishte, the Rila Lakes lift and its ski slope.

You may also see the plateau where followers of Peter Deunov from around the world have performed their mystical dance since 1929. Alongside the natural landmarks, the landscape holds a place associated with a long-standing spiritual tradition.

A comfortable cabin and an introduction to flying

Your aircraft is the luxury Cavalon model from German manufacturer AutoGyro, described by the organiser as a world leader in gyrocopter design and production. Cabin heating provides comfort even on the coldest winter days, while the large panoramic windows let you follow the scenery throughout the experience.

Licensed instructors conduct the flights. With your instructor beside you, you can try your first steps at the controls of a gyrocopter, with guidance provided both before take-off and during the flight.
