The ranch occupies a scenic spot above the Vazov Eco Trail and Skaklya Waterfall. It is home to 18 well-trained horses, 2 dogs and 3 cats, with a team of professional instructors running the activities.

Facilities include an archery arena, a hammock area, spacious meadows, a lake, nature trails and toilets. The mountain setting and views over the Iskar Gorge add to your time with the animals and in the outdoors.

A countryside ride for beginners and more experienced riders

Your ride takes you across varied terrain, with opportunities to enjoy the Balkan Mountain scenery. The horses are calm, well trained and accustomed to working with both complete beginners and more advanced riders. An experienced instructor introduces you to the activity with a detailed briefing before you set off.

After riding, you try archery using a Bulgarian reflex bow. Afterwards, you can unwind in the hammock area and enjoy the atmosphere of the ranch.

What the experience includes

The briefing, riding and archery take approximately 80 minutes in total, or 1 hour and 20 minutes. The experience is offered for two, three or four participants, depending on the package selected. A maximum of four people can take part in any one time slot. This is a group activity, so you may be joined by participants you do not know.

Who can take part

The activity is also suitable for children, with a minimum age of 7. The maximum participant weight is 120 kg. A parent must be present on site for anyone under 18.

Operating season and start times

Riding runs during the year from 5 January to 20 December, with fixed start times of 11:00, 13:00 or 15:00. The ranch does not run this activity on Mondays. Book at least 48 hours in advance. The experience is weather-dependent.

Getting there and preparing for your visit

• Travel in your own car. The ranch is reached by a well-maintained asphalt road.
• Wear sports clothing suitable for the season.
• Arrive 10–15 minutes before your agreed start time.
• If you would like to bring the horses a treat, choose carrots or apples. Do not feed them sugar or bread.
