Meet the horses and head into the forest

Your visit begins at the riding centre, where you will meet the horses and receive a 15-minute riding safety briefing. A qualified riding instructor, a well-trained horse and a protective helmet are provided.

Once the preparations are complete, you will set off on a 30-minute horse ride through the forest. Before the craft session begins, this part of the experience gives you time outdoors in the company of your horse.

Decorate a horseshoe from the horse you rode

After the ride, you return to the riding centre for a 45-minute workshop. You receive a horseshoe from the horse you have ridden, already prepared for decorating. All the materials needed to personalise it are included.

The design is up to your imagination. A decorator provides unobtrusive supervision and advice while you decide how to turn the horseshoe into your own souvenir. You take the finished piece home with you.

The experience suits couples, families and children aged seven and over. It can be a shared activity with friends, a team-building outing, a children's birthday celebration or a family occasion. It brings together outdoor activity and a chance to enjoy making something.

The service is arranged for your chosen party size, from one to eight participants, with activities taking place in groups of up to eight. It can go ahead even if only one person has signed up. If more people are registered, they are divided into separate groups of no more than eight.

Participation requirements and what to wear

• The minimum age is seven.
• The maximum participant weight is 95 kg.
• Participants under 18 need parental consent.
• Wear comfortable sports clothing, including long trousers and closed-toe shoes. Jeans, leggings and trainers are suitable.
• Arrive at the riding centre 10–15 minutes before your booked start time.

Season, start times and weather conditions

The experience takes place in the Borovets area from the beginning of April to the end of November. It runs daily, with start times between 10:00 and 17:00. Whether it can go ahead depends on the weather.

Your booking request must be made at least 48 hours before the start. Buying an Adventico voucher does not confirm a particular date or time; these must be arranged in advance, taking the schedule and operating conditions into account.
