Jetpack at Iskar Reservoir — a 15-Minute Water Adventure

A jetpack experience at Iskar Reservoir is an adventure for anyone looking for a thrill and an unusual way to enjoy the water. Described by the provider as roughly half an hour from Sofia, this location gives you the chance to try one of the most striking water sports and feel powerful water thrust lift you into the air.

The experience includes 15 minutes of operating a jetpack for one participant. It makes a gift for an adrenaline enthusiast or water-sports fan, or a treat for yourself if you are ready to take on a new challenge.

How the jetpack works and what it feels like

You wear the jetpack on your back, like a backpack. It is powered by a strong jet of water supplied by the engines of a jet ski, which is operated by an instructor.

Think of the feeling of becoming a movie superhero: a rapid rise above the water and spiralling turns bring an extra rush to the experience. Operating a jetpack is a real challenge for anyone who enjoys adrenaline. The instructor controls the jet ski supplying the thrust while you take part in operating the equipment on your back.

What is included

• A 15-minute jetpack experience for one participant.
• An introductory briefing on how to operate the jetpack.
• The necessary equipment, including a helmet, gloves and a buoyancy and impact-protection vest.
• An instructor operating the jet ski that supplies the water thrust.

The service is delivered individually for the selected number of participants, rather than as a simultaneous group jetpack session.
