Mexican Cooking Class in Sofia – Part 1
Bring fresh flavours, lively spice and rich aromas into your kitchen with a Mexican cooking class in Sofia. Mexican Cuisine: Authentic Recipes – Part 1 invites you to explore Mexico’s vibrant food traditions and take a hands-on role in preparing the dishes. Choose an Adventico voucher for yourself or for someone who would love a culinary journey built around practical cooking.
Discover Mexico beyond its beaches and music
Mexico brings to mind beautiful beaches, mariachi music and a festive spirit, but its food is just as compelling. Here, cooking is part of the culture, an art form and a way of life. Its culinary traditions bring together ancient Aztec and Maya recipes with influences from Spanish cooking.
This class offers a way into that rich heritage through classic Mexican dishes. You will explore flavours in which heat is complemented by freshness and aromatic depth. If you want to understand authentic Mexican cooking, you can do so by working with the recipes yourself, rather than only tasting the finished food.
Authentic flavours and practical techniques
With guidance from Chef Nemigenchev, you will explore the distinctive qualities of traditional Mexican flavours and learn techniques used to prepare authentic dishes. The emphasis is on developing practical skills for making food that fellow food lovers will enjoy.
This is Part 1 of Mexican Cuisine: Authentic Recipes. The experience combines an introduction to the culinary tradition with active participation, giving you a chance to discover its characteristic flavours through your own work in the kitchen.
Everyone takes part in the cooking
This is not simply a demonstration by the chef. Every participant actively helps prepare the dishes and carries out assigned tasks. The setting reflects a real working kitchen, with its pace and particular practical demands.
The class is recommended for people who are interested in cooking and ready to follow the chef’s instructions and contribute to the work. If that is how you like to learn, you can explore Mexican cuisine as part of the kitchen team rather than watching from the sidelines.
The scheduled duration is 4 hours. However, the time needed to complete the tasks depends on the participants’ pace, so the class may run longer than advertised.
Taste your dishes once the cooking is complete
When all the dishes are finished, participants sit down to taste what they have prepared. An alcoholic drink is served at the end of the class during this tasting. Alcohol is not served while cooking is underway, helping everyone maintain their concentration and work safely.
