Before setting off, you receive a short briefing on handling the electric bike and the terrain you will encounter. The guides know the area well and adjust the pace to the conditions and the participants. This balances forward movement with time to get your bearings, become familiar with the bike and pay attention to your technique.

The experience is organised to balance reassurance with freedom to enjoy the ride. As you explore less accessible places in a controlled, modern way, there is still room to appreciate the mountain itself: its views, its air and the feeling of being in the landscape. Duration and what is included

Choose an experience for one or two people, lasting either two or four hours. You will ride in a group with other participants you may not know, with a maximum of three participants in the group.

Who can take part

No driving licence is required. The experience is also suitable for younger riders, but the minimum participation age is 14. Every participant under 18 must have written parental consent.

• Minimum age: 14.
• Maximum participant weight: 100 kg.
• Maximum group size: three participants.
• Anyone who has consumed alcohol or drugs will not be allowed to take part.

Getting ready for your mountain ride

Before travelling, you must phone the organiser's team to check the weather conditions. The experience is weather-dependent and can only take place when there is no snow cover.

Comfortable sports clothing and footwear are recommended, chosen with the forecast in mind. Remember that wind makes it feel colder while riding, so you may feel chillier on the bike than you expect. Wear sturdy footwear, preferably high-cut shoes or boots with a firmer sole. Riding in open footwear, including sandals and flip-flops, is prohibited.

Location, operating hours and booking

• Location: Rila, Kyustendil Province.
• Rides are organised every day of the week between 08:00 and 17:00, by advance reservation.
• The experience can take place only when there is no snow cover and weather conditions are suitable.
• Reservations must be requested at least 48 hours before the start.
• The organiser's stated cancellation condition allows free cancellation up to 168 hours before the reserved start time.
