Online Coding Classes for Kids – Scratch, Python and Virtual Projects
Description
Online coding classes for kids with Scratch and Python
Give online coding classes for kids and let your child learn wherever they are — at home, on holiday or on the move. With flexible scheduling and sessions arranged for a convenient time, this gift opens the door to programming, creating virtual projects and developing technical skills.
From visual building blocks to the possibilities of Python
The programme includes online programming with Scratch and Python, along with creating virtual projects. Scratch offers children and beginners an accessible way to build interactive stories, games and animations: rather than starting by typing code, they work with visual blocks.
Python provides a different approach to programming. Its easy-to-follow syntax and wide range of uses make this versatile language suitable for beginners as well as more advanced learners. The sessions give your child an opportunity to explore the digital world or build on their existing technical skills.
The aim is to make learning easier, more accessible and inspiring, without location determining whether your child can take part.
What the programme includes
- A total of 4 hours of online programming over 1 month.
- Activities using Scratch and Python, plus the creation of virtual projects.
- Individual session length: 60 minutes.
Who can take part
The programme is designed for children aged 6 to 15 and teenagers aged 15 to 17. The minimum age is 6. Tuition takes place online in a private format for your selected number of participants, rather than as part of a group of unfamiliar learners.
Scheduling and booking
Sessions require advance booking and take place between 10:00 and 19:30. Allow at least 120 hours, or 5 days, between your booking request and the start time you would like. Only the first session is reserved through the booking system.
The organiser states that cancellation is free up to 48 hours before the booked session.
A gift for a curious digital mind
Choose an Adventico voucher when you want a gift that brings together learning, creativity and the opportunity to develop new skills. The voucher is an invitation to take part in online learning, not a confirmed booking for a particular time.
