Quilling Art Brunch in Sofia: Create Your Own Paper Artwork

Make time for colour, calm and something beautiful made by your own hands. This quilling art brunch in Sofia combines a four-hour creative workshop, light refreshments and the pleasure of turning fine paper strips into a finished decorative picture. Create something for your home or put a personal idea into a handmade gift for someone close to you.

A weekend ritual devoted to paper art

Quilling uses narrow strips of paper that are rolled and shaped into small elements. Carefully arranged and combined, these pieces form a complete, detailed composition. During the art brunch, you will explore this delicate way of working with paper and see how individual shapes gradually become a decorative artwork of your own.

The session is designed as a peaceful, inspiring weekend ritual. Rather than rushing towards a finished piece, you have time to focus on small movements, colours and arrangement. The welcoming setting encourages creative thought and lets you work at a natural pace, enjoying the process as much as the result.

Creative guidance from Mihaela Kirova

Mihaela Kirova guides you throughout the session, bringing extensive experience from Listopadna Art Gallery and a keen eye for detail. With a friendly manner, creative ideas and a smile, she helps you work through each stage and develop your composition. Her approach brings ease and positive energy to the workshop while leaving space for you to discover your own artistic direction.

From a tiny paper shape to a finished picture

You will explore the essential features of quilling: carefully shaping miniature paper elements, arranging them and combining them into a larger image. To spark ideas, you will look at different uses of the technique, including artistic greeting cards, handmade jewellery and other paper miniatures. These examples offer several approaches to shape and composition as a starting point for your own design.

You will then build your picture step by step with the artist's support. Each colour you choose and every detail you position adds something personal to the finished work. Your composition can bring an individual touch to your home or office, or become a gift that reflects the time and care you put into making it.
