- 30 minutes: climb to around 1.5 km. Take in Batak Reservoir, overfly Velingrad, view Tsepina, Rila, Pirin and the Balkan Mountains. In excellent visibility you may even glimpse mountain ranges in neighboring Greece. Bonus: motorboat rental for four for 30 minutes on Batak Lake (usable June–September), received on site after your flight.
