Thai Therapeutic Massage in Sofia, Iztok — 60 Minutes

Set aside 60 minutes to relax your muscles and unwind mentally with a Thai therapeutic massage in Sofia’s Iztok neighbourhood. The treatment brings together traditional techniques and movements rooted in yoga, delivered by a practitioner who is a master of the Chiang Mai school of Thai massage.

A tradition dating back 2,500 years

Thai therapeutic massage has a history stretching back around 2,500 years. It is also often called “yoga massage” because many of its movements and techniques draw on yoga, shaping the distinctive way the treatment is performed.

Another way to describe it is passive exercise. The aim is to leave your body feeling rested and energised without you taking part in an active workout. The studio presents the techniques as a way to provide substantial relief from tension in the muscles and joints while also helping the mind relax. “Therapeutic” is part of the service description, not a promise to cure a condition or deliver a guaranteed medical outcome.
