Tractor Driving in Arbanasi – 40 Minutes at the Wheel

Tractor driving in Arbanasi offers a refreshing change from everyday life and a memory that goes well beyond an ordinary outing. Near Veliko Tarnovo, you can spend 40 minutes at the wheel of a classic UMZ tractor, with a personal introduction to the machine and an instructor beside you throughout the experience.

Country summers and a new kind of adventure

Think of long summer days in the countryside, when time seemed to slow down and the best discoveries happened outdoors. This experience captures that feeling: a connection with the land, open space and the chance to focus on something completely different. Panoramic views stretch across wide fields towards sunlit horizons.

Choose it for yourself or give a friend a chance to revisit fond memories of simpler, more carefree days. A family visit can also introduce children to an unfamiliar world and give them something new to discover. Driving the tractor itself, however, is restricted to participants aged 18 and over.

The outing suits families, friends and adventurous spirits looking for a connection with nature and rural traditions. It combines an unusual challenge with the chance to slow down, enjoy learning something new and take home a personal memory that stays with you.

What happens during your tractor drive

Before you set off, the instructor introduces you to the tractor and explains how its controls work. You will learn what the individual levers do and how to use them. This personal briefing helps you get to grips with a machine that handles very differently from a regular car.

The UMZ has different ways of applying the throttle, a separate brake for each wheel, and both high- and low-range gears. Once you have been introduced to these features, it is time to drive. You take the controls while the instructor stays beside you throughout the 40-minute outing. No driving licence is required.

The tractor has one seat for the driver and one additional place for the instructor. It is not a shared ride carrying several passengers on the same machine. The service is arranged privately for the selected number of participants.

What is included

• 40 minutes of tractor driving.
• A personal briefing before you drive.
• An instructor accompanying you throughout the outing.

An unusual addition to a group celebration

The tractor outing can be combined with the other machines available from the activity organiser. If you are planning a group experience or a stag party, it is a way to add a different challenge to the programme and another story to share afterwards. The specific combination should be arranged with the organiser.

Add a video or photographs

You can add amateur smartphone filming with video editing included. The experience is filmed from different angles to capture a varied and complete record, with filming lasting up to one hour. Afterwards, you receive an edited video with music, ready to share on social media.

Alternatively, choose professional photography using a camera, with a photography session lasting up to one hour. This includes action shots while the tractor is moving as well as stationary photographs in scenic spots. You receive finished, professionally edited images. The stated filming or photography time does not change the included 40 minutes of driving.
