Yantra River Kayaking from Belyanovo
Description
Yantra River Kayaking from Belyanovo
Yantra River kayaking from Belyanovo invites you to spend a day surrounded by river scenery, greenery and quiet. Slow down, listen to the water and discover a changing view with each paddle stroke. The river brings a sense of freedom, ease and adventure, while the day's programme combines paddling, a walk and time to unwind.
Meet in Belyanovo and paddle upstream
The day starts at 10:00 am in the village of Belyanovo, in the Ruse region. The organiser can send an exact location if needed. Once the kayaks are prepared and you have had a short briefing, the group sets off upstream on the Yantra.
This first stretch is a relaxed, enjoyable paddle through green surroundings and quiet riverbanks. Your destination is the striking rock formations between Belyanovo and Beltsov. Their natural overhangs offer spots for photographs and a short break in the shade before you turn back.
Return with the current, explore and relax in a hammock
On the return journey, the current helps carry you back towards the village. There is then time to eat beneath shaded gazebos; bring your own food for this break.
The programme continues with a walk to the longest suspension footbridge in Northern Bulgaria and the nearby rock-hewn church. To finish, settle into a hammock beneath dappled shade. The day ends at around 5:00 pm, bringing together activity, river landscapes and quieter moments to take home as memories.
