Three-Day Freediving Course in Primorsko

Take your next step in the water with a three-day freediving course in Primorsko. Freediving lets you explore beneath the surface on a single breath, without heavy, bulky scuba equipment. A mask, snorkel and fins are central to the experience, along with training both your body and your mind.

Who the AIDA 2* course is for

This course is designed for people who can swim, feel comfortable in the water and want to learn the fundamental theory and techniques of freediving. It introduces the knowledge, practical skills, safety procedures and potential hazards of breath-hold diving, as well as the enjoyment of exploring the sea.

The description introduces freediving as the ability to reach depths of 15–20 metres without heavy scuba equipment. One specific aim of this course is to help you learn to dive comfortably to 12–20 metres. This is a training objective, not a promise that every participant will achieve the same result.

Two theory sessions totalling 6 hours

The classroom component covers freediving physiology, breathing and breath-holding, pressure equalisation techniques and safety. This knowledge provides a foundation for the practical sessions and for understanding procedures and risks in the water.

Confined-water and sea practice

The practical programme consists of two confined-water sessions and four open-water sessions in the sea. You work on breathing and equalisation techniques, relaxation, and exercises intended to extend breath-hold time.

Training also includes horizontal underwater swimming and efficient finning. Sea dives build on these exercises, giving you the opportunity to apply what you have learned in open water.

What is included for one participant

  • A place on the three-day course with a qualified freediving instructor.
  • Two theory sessions totalling 6 hours.
  • Two confined-water practical sessions and four sessions in the sea.
  • A wetsuit, mask, snorkel, long fins and weight belt.
  • An AIDA 2 course completion certificate only if the required standards are met.

The course takes place in a group with other participants you may not know. Certification is not awarded automatically simply for attending the course.

Age, swimming ability and preparation

The minimum age is 16. Swimming ability is essential, and participants under 18 need parental consent.

The organiser requires you not to consume alcohol or other intoxicating substances during the 24 hours before diving. Its conditions also state that you must not fly for 24 hours before or 24 hours after diving.

Wear swimwear so you can put on the supplied wetsuit and remaining equipment at the venue. Contact the team in advance using the phone number provided to confirm the details of your participation.

Location and published course dates

The course takes place in Primorsko over three days. The organiser's general scheduling text refers to specific dates in July, but its published 2026 timetable lists two periods: 19–21 June and 19–21 July. Both periods have already passed; they are information from the source, not confirmation of an upcoming course. A future date must be established with the team.

The source information specifies at least 60 hours' advance notice before the course begins.

Your voucher and the source provider's terms

The source offer states free cancellation up to 240 hours, or 10 days, before the scheduled start and voucher validity until 14 October 2027. These are the source provider's published terms and do not automatically apply to an Adventico voucher.

Choose an Adventico voucher for training that combines theory, practical experience and a new perspective on the sea. Buying a voucher does not immediately confirm a course booking: dates, participation and the applicable terms are arranged separately.
